Kenya will participate in six sports at the 33rd Olympic Games, which will take place in Paris, France, from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Athletics has about 48 athletes who will compete in 100m men,400m men,400m hurdles men, 4x400m mixed relay,800m men and women,1,500m men and women,3,000msc men and women,5,000m men and women,10,000m and women and men Javelin, the only field event for Kenyan.
Kenyan athletes will also compete in the men’s 20 km walk race, as well as marathon for both men and women.
Other Kenyan competitors at the summer games will include 1 in Judo, and one athlete in fencing in which the country will be making its debut, 2 swimmers, women volleyball and finally the men rugby sevens.
Rugby team-Shujaa will be the 1st to compete, taking on Argentina in group B on 24th of this month before tackling Australia same day and winding up group fixtures by facing Samoa a day later.
