The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) marked Valentine’s Day in a heartwarming way by celebrating its employees with special gifts as a token of appreciation. Staff members at the national broadcaster received a flower, a card, and chocolate, spreading cheer and reinforcing the spirit of gratitude within the workplace.

Employees were given these thoughtful gifts as they arrived at work. The initiative is aimed at recognising the dedication and hard work of KBC staff.

Speaking about the celebration, a KBC Managing Director, Agnes Kalekye Nguna, noted, “At the heart of our organisation is a team that works with purpose, integrity and commitment. Let’s continue to uplift, support and inspire each other every day.”

The gesture comes as KBC concludes its week-long commemoration of World Radio Day, which has seen the broadcaster honour the power of radio in informing, educating, and entertaining audiences. Throughout the week, KBC has hosted special programs and discussions on the evolution of radio in Kenya.
