GSU and Kenya Pipeline maintain perfect run as KVF League,second leg enters day two

Former Kenya volleyball men champions GSU were off to a winning start in the second leg of the Kenya Volleyball league where they overcame Nairobi Prisons by 3 sets to 1 as the defending women champions Kenya Pipeline won their second consecutive match at Ulinzi complex.

GSU men’s volleyball team won the first two sets 25-21 and 25-20 before they lost the third set by a narrow margin of 23-25 .They however fought back to take the fourth quarter 25-12.

The Kenya army men won their second match against Rift Valley prisons by sets to one too . They lost the first set 17-25 before they recovered to the remaining sets 25-20, 25-21 and 25-22.

Administration police overcame DOD CUA by 3 sets to one of 25-23,25-21 and 25-15 after losing the third set 23-25.

Equity beat Base yetu by three straight sets at the Kasarani indoor gymnasium. In the women matches,the defending women champions Kenya Pipeline carried on with their victorious run by overcoming DCI 3-1.

They won the first set 25-19 before DCI made sure they were level by taking the second set 25-23.

The defending women’s volleyball champions decided enough was enough in the remaining sets which they won 25-21 and 25-14.
