Kenyan content creator Bradley Marongo dubbed Gen-Z Goliath or Bradley Mtall who went viral owing to his height has released a statement reassuring Kenyans of his well-being.

Bradley has been in Dubai working alongside the ZamZam brothers when a video of him with a pet cub went viral. In the video, Bradley is seen wrestling with the cub on the ground as the cub tries to bite him. While the video was meant to be fun, many Kenyans took issue with it with some expressing fears and worries about “modern-day slavery.”

In his statement, Bradley was quick to reassure Kenyans following online reactions explaining that he was never in any danger.

“I have seen a lot of feedback from you all regarding the video of me with the lioness at the zoo, alongside the Zam Zam brothers,” the statement begins. “I want to clear the air and address some of the things I have been seeing on social media.

“First, I want to say that this was never about anything harmful or disrespectful. What you saw in the video was just me having fun and creating content.”

Addressing the ‘modern-day slavery’ claims, Bradley said the ZamZam brothers had been nothing but kind to him and reassured Kenyans of his well-being.

“The Zam Zam brothers have been nothing but kind to me since I have been in Dubai. I know some of you are saying this is “Modern Slavery” but thats not the case.

“If you take a look at the Zam Zam brothers pages, you will see they have been doing similar content with other content creators too, and nothing negative has ever come out of it.

“The intention behind the video was simply to make something fun for the fans, and I want to assure you all there was no malice involved.”

However, he did express his appreciation for his fans’ concerns and support.

“I respect all your concerns and appreciate you caring about me, but there was no harm done, and I was never in any danger,” he said.

Bradley has been in Dubai over the past one week and is expected to continue his collaboration with the brothers until the end of the month.

“I have been in Dubai for a week now, and I will be here for a month. Going forward, I will be more thoughtful about the content I create and share.

“Your feedback is important to me, and I always listen to what you have to say. You, my fellow Kenyans, are the reason I am here, and your support means the world to me.”
