Jane Wangari and Peter Lomurun emerged victorious in the under 15 years category, at the 24th International School Federation world cross country championship at the Ngong racecourse on Sunday.
The Nakuru based Wangari outsprinted the rest in the last lap of the 2400m race as Kenya scooped the 1st 8 places.
Wangari finished in 7:40.8 ahead of Faith Jeptum and Claire Cherono who clocked 7:42.1 and 7:43.2 in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Lomorun led Kenya to a 1,2,3 finish in the 3400m boys race in 10:18.6, followed by Benson Tipapa Kirinkon in 10:22.5,while Dan Kibet finished 3rd in 10:33.5.
