Ubowed Zeddy sets sight on forthcoming championships after Olympic Games experience

Multiple national champion Zeddy Cherotich says her experience at the ongoing Olympic Games will be critical to her future development as a judoka even as she sets her eyes on forthcoming International championships.

Zeddy lost her round of 32 match to Portuguese opponent  Patricia Sampaio at  Stade De Champs Arena, in Paris France.

Zeddy who picked up Judo  barely two years ago lost the bout to Patricia Samapio in a match that served as a learning as a learning curve.

The former national javelin champion who competed in the Under 78kg is rooting for the  support of the sport especially from the government so as to nurture future players while still younger .The 34 year old believes she is not yet done as she sets her eyes on forthcoming international championships.

Meanwhile the Kenya Judo federation has revealed plans to reinvigorate the sport across the counties
