Two soldiers who died with late CDF Ogolla to be buried Saturday

The late Major George Magondu will be buried in Nyeri County.

Two Kenya Defence Forces officers who died in the ill fated chopper crash that also claimed the life of CDF Francis Ogolla will be laid to rest today.

The two officers; Colonel Duncan Keitany and Major George Magondu will be buried at their homes in Baringo County and Nyeri County respectively.

The soldiers lost their lives on April 18th following a chopper crash in Sindar area, Elgeyo Marakwet.

The burials will be conducted in accordance with the military protocols and the honours and guided by the wishes of the fallen soldiers and their families.

The military personnel who passed on along the two were: the late CDF General Ogolla, Brigadier Swale Saidi, Lieutenant Colonel David Sawe, Captain Sora Mohamed, Captain Hillary Litali, Senior Sergeant John Kinyua Mureithi, Sergeant Cliphonce Omondi, and Sergeant Rose Nyawira.
