Two people have died and 10 others injured in yet another road accident involving a bus and fuel tanker in Muguga area in Kikuyu along James Gichuru Rironi road.
Confirming the Saturday morning accident, Kikuyu Police Commander Ronald Kirui said the 62-seater bus belonging to Eldoret Express Company rammed into a fuel tanker that had stalled on the road at around 5.30 am.
The bodies have been moved to Thogoto Hospital Mortuary while the wreckage of the two vehicles was towed to Kikuyu Police Station.
The police boss has urged motorists to exercise caution, especially during this rainy season.
The latest crash happened amid a pledge by the Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to curb the rising number of road accidents.
