Tanzania women’s soccer team forward Aisha Masaka has joined Brittain’s Women’s Super League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
The club posted on its social media pages confirming the development.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Aisha Masaka from BK Hacken on undisclosed terms, subject to the usual regulatory processes.”
However, prior to joining the London based club, she was playing at Sweden’s side BK Hacken that finished second place last season after accumulating 36 points from 15 matches.
On the other hand, her new club Brighton Hove & Albion was ranked 9th in WSL.
She is a product of Alliance Academy based in Mwanza region where she played between 2018 and 2021 before joining Yanga Princess that feature in Tanzania Women’s Premier League.
In 2022, she signed for BK Hacken making her first step of international career and now, she has opened a new chapter at the London’s club.
She was born on November 10th, 2003 in Singida region, Tanzania and she is among the decorated players for the national women’s football team Twiga Stars.
