Kenyan personality Stephen Otieno, popularly known as Stivo Simple Boy, has officially launched the Simple Boy Foundation, an initiative aimed at empowering youth through education and job creation.

The foundation’s mission is to support young people in overcoming challenges related to unemployment and lack of educational opportunities, while also addressing issues such as drug abuse.

Announcing the launch, he said the foundation plans to offer free short courses to primary and high school graduates, focusing on vocational training and mentorship programs.

In his address, Stivo urged schools that withhold students’ certificates due to unpaid fees to reconsider, highlighting how such practices hinder youth from pursuing their dreams. He stressed that when a student succeeds, the entire community benefits.

Mtoto akifaulu, jamii nzima inafaulu.”

Stivo Simple Boy first rose to fame with his hit song “Mihadarati,” since then, he has continued to release music that resonates with the youth, including songs like “Freshi Barida.”
