Korogez FC from Gikomba beat Eastleigh South United 2-1 to seal final place in this year’s Koth Biro tournament.

Korogez Fc qualified for the final of the ongoing KothBiro soccer tournament after coming from behind to edge out Eastleigh South United 2-1 in an entertaining semi-final match played Monday at Umeme Grounds, Ziwani, Nairobi.

Eastleigh led 1-0 at halftime after Moffat Olunga put them ahead in the 18th minute. Korogez returned in the second half a rejuvenated side pulling level in the 57th minute through Musa Masika. Dan Onyango assured Korogez of the win scoring the second goal with seven minutes to play.

Following the win, Korogez will play the winner of the second semi-final scheduled for Tuesday between Dandora All Saints and Leads FC.

The final of the annual off-season championship is scheduled for Saturday 4th February at Umeme Grounds, Ziwani.
