League leaders Tusker Fc will be seeking to keep intact their perfect start to the 2022/23 Football Kenya Federation Premier League, FKF-PL season when they face  Bandari at Mbaraki Grounds,Mombasa.

Tusker Fc is enjoying rich form that has seen the 12 time champions collect maximum points from their opening 6 fixtures.

 ‘Unlike last season where we struggled, this season we have really gotten in shape and this as a result of a good pre season we had’’, Tusker Fc forward Deogratius Ojok said.

Ojok’s five goals in six matches have enabled Tusker take a 2 point lead against closest challengers Nzoia Sugar, with the Ugandan attacker saying he is motivated by his form.

 ‘’The numbers is a great motivation to me and we have started the campaign well and I hope to continue scoring’’, remarked Ojok .

The striker who is four goals shy of his total he netted during the 2021 campaign targets to end the campaign with at least 15 goals.

Bandari placed 12th are enduring a stuttering run that has see the Antony  Kimani led charges pick 5 points from six games and will be keen to claim the scalp of the high riding brewers.

‘’This season the squad {Bandari} is changed and could be more superior than last season and will be heading to the game on Sunday after a loss so the game could be tough but I am looking forward to a pistive result’’, said Ojok.

Meanwhile newly signed midfielder Tusker Fc midfielder David Odoyo is determined to cement his place in the side afer the 18 year old former Kakamega High School,Green Commandoes offensive  midfielder  made his top flight debut last weekend. He featured In Tusker Fc’s 2-1 win against Vihiga Bullets at Ruaraka.

‘’ I was elated to feature in the game,the game was tough but we got the win and the more games we play the more experienced I will become’’ said the youngster who also hopes to gather more minutes in future matches.

‘’ I want to clock many minutes and move from 60 to 80 or 70 minutes I also target to score as well as provide more assists’ remark odoyo. Tusker and Bandari tie is expected to kick off at 3PM at Mbaraki grounds, this being one of the 9 FKF PL fixtures on schedule Sunday.
