A total of nine Football Kenya Federation Premier league matches are lined up Wednesday with three sides seeking to register their first win of the campaign.

2009 champions Sofapaka have drawn four of their six matches this season losing twice  and will be out to  get their campaign back on track against Talanta Fc.

Sofapaka has endured three back to back draws against Police,Ulinzi and AFC Leopards while they have suffered defeats against Nzoia Sugar and Bandari Fc.

Police who came back to the top tier last season have found the going tough in their opening four  matches ,drawing twice and losing same number of games.

They face Wazito tomorrow with the newly recruited head coach Francis Baraza expected to guide the side to a long awaited win.

Police who have recruited heavily have come short against KCB and Kakamega Homeboyz with their encounters against Sofapaka and  Bandari  ending in stalemates.

They have had their two matches against Mathare United and Vihiga Bullets rescheduled due to ensuing promotion and relegation fiasco.

Nairobi City Stars who appeared to have punched above their weight last season when they ended the campaign  among the top five sides  appear to be struggling for form having drawn two and lost four matches.

The Kawangware based outfit faces a struggling AFC Leopards who have also failed to register a win in their last four matches with their last win coming on the opening weekend of the season when they beat Ulinzi Stars 2-0.

Meanwhile table toppers Tusker Fc will be out to extend their winning start against Vihiga Bullets. Tusker is perched at the top of the table standings with maximum points from 5 games, two ahead of second placed Nzoia Sugar.

Kakamega Homeboyz are placed third and will be at home against visiting Kariobangi Sharks.
