Muthaiga’s Professional Golfer Mutahi Kibugu is the lone Kenyan to make the cut at this year’s Kenya Open.

Mutahi Kibugu will be the lone Kenyan to play over the weekend after he had a round of level par 71 for a total of 3 under par 139.

Mutahi had a 30 foot downhill putt for a birdie at the par five 18th hole to secure a slot in the group that’s considered to be in business.

Spaniard Nacho Elvira had a round of 4 under par 67 for a total of 10 under par 132 to move up 9 places and take the overnight lead.

The day’s best car was from Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune who moved up 48 places to end the day joint second on 8 under par 133.

Round three will be played Saturday with the final round on Sunday.

The players who make cut are battling for a share of the 259-million-shilling prize fund.
