Upcoming steeple chase runner Faith Cherotich is set to feature in her debut Diamond League Season this year.

World under 20, 3000 meters steeplechase champion Faith Cherotich was honoured for her impressive flegdling athletics career.

Cherotich who bagged 5 medals in a span of 18 months was celebrated  at the Kalyet Athletics Camp in Londiani, Kericho County. 

The 18-year-old won a gold medal in 3000 meters steeplechase in the World Under 20 athletics Championships in Cali, Colombia last year. 

She also won a bronze medal at the World under 20 athletics championships held in Nairobi in 2021. 

Faith was also part of the junior team that won silver at this years World Cross Country Chsmpionship in Barthhurst,Australia.

Cherotich is currently preparing for the Diamond League  series which kick off in Doha in May.
