Small businesses and startups in the hair and hair products industry will have a chance to showcase themselves during the upcoming Africa Hair Market exhibition slated for next month in Nairobi.
The exhibition which will be co-hosted by Africa Is A Planet and Global Exhibitions Inc will introduce shelves which is unique and cost effective to the exhibitors.
“Our goal is to deliver a bustling market environment with a wide range of stakeholders exchanging value, using the economic and efficient potential of a state-of-the-art space like Sarit Expo Centre,” adds Keith Oleng, Projects Manager and founder of Africa Is A Planet.
The organizers say the shelf-based exhibition embraces the sharing economy model, offering startups and SMEs in the haircare, skincare, beauty, and fashion industries an affordable avenue to showcase their products in a state-of-the-art event space.

The Africa Hair Market offers an accessible platform for small businesses to connect, network, and thrive in a sustainable way,” said Christine Mwende, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce (KNCCI) Nairobi Chapter chief executive.
The shelves are expected to enable Kenya’s most promising startups to showcase their work at Kh 2,300 while keeping costs manageable which the organizers says contributes directly to the ease of doing business metric in the country.
