Six people were killed on Sunday after suspected Al-Shabaab militants attacked a National Police Reservist camp in Biyamadhow, Fafi, Garissa County.

According to a police report, four others were injured in the 5:30AM attack.

The report indicates the militants used assorted weapons to overrun the camp.

Multi-agency security teams led by the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) have launched investigations and are pursuing the attackers.

Authorities are expected to provide further updates as the probe continues.
