Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula has claimed that his life is in danger after an unknown group of people raided his mother’s home in Lugari, Kakamega County on Saturday night.
Addressing journalists on the matter, Savula said he suspects that the said raid was sparked by his political remarks at a funeral recently especially as pertains the rising cost of living.
Savula however said he would not be intimidated by threats against his life and those of his family members, vowing to continue speaking to issues affecting the ordinary citizens.
