President William Ruto Tuesday morning convened a Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group (PG) meeting at State House, Nairobi.
The PG comes hours before tabling of the Finance Bill, 2024 by the National Assembly’s Finance and Planning Committee.
The ruling coalition is also expected to brief Kenyans on the meeting. Key issues include the contentious Finance Bill 2024 which has faced opposition by a section of lawmakers and Kenyans.
Other issues will include the rift between members of the ruling coalition allied to President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua over his call to unify the Mt. Kenya region.
