Kenya to face Canada in 9th place quarter final in Dubai Sevens

The national rugby sevens team ,Shujaa, surrendered a 14-7 half time lead to draw 19-19 with Australia in their final group A match of the ongoing World rugby sevens circuit in Dubai.
Herman Humwa,Billy Odhiambo and Willy Ambaka scored a try a piece to hand Shujaa the commanding half time lead.
Australia staged a comeback in the second half spurred by Josh Turners first half converted try.Henry Paterson and Maurice Longbottom crossed the line to hand Australia the draw.
The draw follows Kenya’s falling to South Africa 27-12 having began their campaign with a 14-14 draw against England.
The draw leaves Kenya battling for 9th place finish where they are set to face Canada on Saturday .
Meanwhile the main Cup quarter final pairings will see South Africa facing Samoa while France will play New Zealand.USA will battle Australia while Argentina will be up against Ireland.
