The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party will on Saturday launch the membership drive, aimed at shoring up its numbers, an exercise that will culminate in grassroots elections scheduled for early next year.

The party’s Communication Director Philip Etale disclosed Friday morning that the resolution for the Raila Odinga-led outfit to hold grassroots elections was made during a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) held in September this year.

“The exercise to be held in Siaya town will be officiated by the Party Leader, H.E. Raila A. Odinga,” he said in a statement

“This will be a build-up to the much-anticipated Party elections and is aimed at rejuvenating and reenergizing the party. After the launch, similar activities will be rolled out to other parts of the country,” noted Etale
