To facilitate their entry into the Cabinet, Cabinet Secretaries Dr. Andrew Karanja (Agriculture) and Margaret Nyambura Ndung’u (Information, Communication, and Digital Economy) have been redeployed as new envoys to Brazil and Ghana, respectively. Both had been appointed as Cabinet Secretaries during President Ruto’s second reshuffle in August.

In other changes, the head of state reassigned Sports Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen to the powerful Ministry of Interior and National Administration previously held by Kithure Kindiki who has since been appointed as Deputy President.

His counterpart Salim Mvurya was moved from Trade to the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports.
