The Business Community in Meru have lamented the deteriorating state of development in the county since 2022 Elections.
The leaders blamed political wrangles among the national and county elected Leaders that has left the Business community to suffer with no development projects, oth in major towns and in remote areas.
Kenya National Chamber of commerce, Meru chapter said businesses in have suffered for the last two and a half years with both essential services and business opportunities becoming a hard thing to get.
According to the chairperson and director, the political class has abandoned the business community. They argue that the elected politicians who are supposed to provide these services and opportunities are now talking politics throughout with disregard to the Businesses suffering in the county.
This the business community say despite the recent development meeting at DP’S Karen Residence, Meru leaders have already started political night meetings, Which they say will continue to hamper development.
