Rising star Osa Nkiru has announced that her latest single, All For Me, a soulful blend of Afrobeats and R&B will be released on March 7.
Sharing information about the new single, she shared that it delves into themes of devotion, passion, and the exhilarating sensation of being fully present with a loved one.
Blending rhythmic Afrobeat grooves with sultry R&B undertones, All For Me, sets out to create an immersive sonic experience that embodies both passion and vulnerability.
“All For Me was inspired by that exhilarating feeling of being completely present with someone you love—when nothing else matters except the connection you’re sharing in that moment,” Ms nkiru said. “I wanted to capture the anticipation, the tension, and the way intimacy isn’t always about what happens next but how it builds up. It’s about allowing yourself to enjoy those moments without worrying about what’s to come.”
The track’s lyrics paint vivid imagery, from “Wake up next to me” to “Control the fire in my system,” showcasing the push-and-pull energy between longing and restraint.
Nkiru crafts a narrative that highlights desire, comfort, and trust, creating a deeply relatable and emotionally rich song. A standout feature of All For Me is the subtle yet evocative saxophone that plays throughout, culminating in a soulful solo towards the end of the track.
“That was honestly what set the mood for me,” Osa Nkiru explains. “It elevated the romance and enhanced the warmth we aimed to create through the lyrics.”
The production and vocal layering further heighten the experience, offering a sense of closeness and anticipation.
“At this moment, All For Me, resonates because people are craving real, deep, and personal connections,” Nkiru says. “There’s so much noise in the world—social media, distractions, outside opinions—and I wanted to create something that reminds people to tune all of that out and just be with someone, even if only for a moment.”
Beyond its sensuality, All For Me also carries a message of confidence and empowerment.
“This song is about knowing you’re desired, being in control of your own energy, and allowing yourself to be vulnerable with someone who deserves it,” Osa Nkiru adds. “It’s sexy, but it’s also about trust, presence, and embracing love naturally.”
Ms Nkiru hopes that listeners will play All For Me when they want to feel empowered in their sensuality, set the perfect mood, or simply escape into a moment of pure connection.
