The Orange Democratic Movement party (ODM) has launched its campaign to popularise the party ahead of the national elections scheduled for later this year.

Addressing party delegates from Teso North and Teso South Constituencies at Malaba hospital grounds, ODM MP Oku Kaunya of Teso North, his Matayos counterpart Geoffrey Odanga and Nairobi County Assembly Majority Leader Peter Imwatok vowed to strengthen the Orange party to ensure that Kenya Kwanza alliance does not make inroads in the area.

Migori leaders also embarked on a recruitment drive aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroot base.

They criticized former Governor Sospeter Ojaamong for joining the government even after being sponsored by ODM to win both the parliamentary and Gubernatorial seats for two decades.

They said ODM will oppose the controversial Finance Bill and urged the electorate to vote out all those supporting the bill.

The leaders accused Governor Paul Otuoma of poor leadership that has led to the collapse of health services in all public health facilities in the County.
