NSL: Race for third place to go down to the wire as league culminates Sunday

The national super league,nsl,2023/24 season is set to culminate Sunday with a total of 10 matches being played across the country.

Already promoted and champions Mara Sugar will be seeking to wind up the season on a high when they face Vihiga United.

Mara Sugar were declared champions after attaining unassailable lead. They lead the NSL log with 84 points ,five ahead of second placed and Mathare United.

By finishing second Mathare United have also earned their return to the top flight after being relegated last season.

An impressive campaign has seen the 2008 Kenyan premier league winners collect a total of 79 points from 37 games.

Mathare will be at home against Mombasa Stars.

Third placed Naivas Fc will be seeking to gain maximum points against Assad Fc to solidify their top three position which is also being contested by Nairobi United who lie third with 72 points a point adrift.

Nairobi United will be up against relegated Silibwet Leons.Gusii United and Kajiado Fc have been relegated as well.

Top two teams automatically earn promotion to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League next season with the third place side battling for a place in top tier with the third bottom team in the FKF PL in a promotion relegation play off.

The third place team will face Sofapaka in the two legged play off.
