Nine stadiums in six cities in Morocco to host the 2025 AFCON

The Confederation African Football (CAF), together with the Fédération Royale Marocaine Football and the Local Organising Committee of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2025, have announced the cities that will host matches in the competition.

Six cities and nine stadiums have been selected for Africa’s flagship football tournament, which will run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026.

The cities are Rabat, Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier.

The 9 selected stadiums include 4 in the administrative city of Rabat, including the 65,500-seater Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah, the Stade Al Barid with an 18,000 capacity, the Stade Olympique Annexe Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah with a sitting capacity of 21,000, and the 22,000-seater Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay EL Hassan.

The only venue  among the 1988 stadiums that will host this year’s event is the legendary Mohammed V Stadium, which can accommodate 45,000 spectators.

Other venues include the Grand Stade d’Agadir in Agadir city and the Grand Stade de Marrakech in Marrakech city, with a 41,144 and 41,245 seating capacities, respectively.

Complexe Sportif de Fès in Fes City a 35,468-seater, and the 75,600-seat Grande Stade de Tanger in Tangier City which  has the largest sitting capacity are the other  venues  that will stage all the 54 matches of the 35th AFCON finals.
