President William Ruto says there is need for African countries to work towards the elimination of trade barriers and offer leadership in creating momentum for their economic growth.
“Through the implementation of the Agenda 2063, we will make intra-African trade a reality,” President Ruto said when he held talks with the Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki at State House, Nairobi.
Earlier, the President undertook to ensure Kenya and Indonesia explore more potential areas of cooperation key among them being trade, mining and energy and defense and security.
He made the undertaking at State House, Nairobi, when he a meeting of Ministers from Kenya and Indonesia led by General (Rtd) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, the Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs.
