UDA acting Secretary General Cleophas Malala

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) acting Secretary General Cleophas Malala and former Kisii Governor James Ongwae are among key faces that missed out in Chief Administrative Secretary position unveiled on Thursday.

This comes after the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei revealed a list of individuals nominated to Chief Administrative Secretaries set to be approved by the National Assembly.

“By dint of the executive action, the nominations have been transmitted to the national Assembly for consideration and approval by Parliament in accordance with the Public Appointments Act,” Koskei said through a statement.

Others big names that missed on the list include; former Members of Parliament Caleb Kositany (SOY Constituency), Simon Mbugua (Starehe) and former Kirinyaga Women Rep Purity Wangui Ngirici.

Journalists; Boniface Musambi, Lindah Ogutu and Mwanaisha Chidzuga are among those who were shortlisted for the CAS positions by the Public Service Commission to miss out in the nomination lists.
