A court in Eldoret has freed four suspects linked to the murder of LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba.

According to the prosecution, there was no evidence to charge them following the conclusion of the investigations.

The four include bodybuilder Dennis Litali and three minors who had been arrested in connection to the murder.

The three minors will, however, be required to report to the DCI offices in Eldoret South once a month for three months.

The main suspect Jacktone Odhiambo will face murder before the High court in Eldoret.

Chiloba's body was discovered on 3rd January 2023 wrapped in a metallic box and dumped by the roadside in Kipkaren area.
