The Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) has launched Integrity Clubs in universities in the Nyanza region as a platform for nurturing integrity among learners.

Speaking during a conference at  Tom Mboya University', EACC Director of Preventive Services Vincent Okong’o, who represented CEO Twalib Mbarak, appreciated the progress made by learning institutions in establishing and supporting the operations of integrity clubs across the country.

Rongo University Vice Chancellor Prof. Samuel Gudu said that the introduction of Integrity Clubs in schools will greatly improve discipline among learners which is a prerequisite for excellence in academic performance.

Prof. Gudu termed the clubs as a good way of securing a corrupt free country in the future noting that corruption and other social ills are perpetrated by people who may be intellectually endowed but morally handicapped.
