The National athletics championships cum Africa senior athletics championships trials which were set for 16th and 18th this month at Nyayo national stadium has been moved to 21st and 22nd at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
In its communique AK cited unavoidable circumstances as the reason behind the postponement.
However the championship may not be used as an Olympic games qualifier since the Ulinzi Sports complex is not internationally recognized by World Athletics as a standard venue.
The 23rd edition of the Africa senior athletics championships will be held in Doula Cameroon between 15th to 22nd next month.
Kenya will be defending the overall title it won in 2 years ago in Mauritius with 23 medals 10 gold ,5 silver and 8 bronze .
