Survey: CS Miano rated Best Performing, Most Transformative

The Investment,Trade & Industrialization Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano has been rated the Best Performing CS in Kenya 2024 with 72.3pc performance rating.

She is closely followed by Interior CS Prof.Kithure Kindiki with 68.4pc and Information CS Eliud Owalo at 3rd position with 63.4pc.

According to a survey conducted by Mizani Africa CS Miano also emerged as the most improved CS from the survey at 72.3pc a jump from 54pc performance rating posted seven months ago from an earlier survey conducted by the same institution.

Some of the reasons cited by the survey for her performance include: Launching of the Karibu Business Support Centre, (KBSC) a one stop point of contact for all business needs, hosting over 10 high powered Bilateral meetings with American based companies during the AmCham Summit, facilitating the ratification of the Kenya-EU EPA by Kenya National Assembly among others.

Mizani Africa says the CS is leading again as the Most Transformative CS in the current government with 37pc preference, followed by CS Owalo with 18pc and Cooperatives CS Simon Chelugui coming in 3rd with 13pc.

Similarly, Trade Cabinet Secretary takes the lead as the most Committed CS in delivering on her mandate at 42pc performance rating, followed by Interior CS Prof. Kindiki at 22pc  and CS Owalo 3rd at 13pc.

She was second most preferred candidate preferred as a presidential running mate at 35pc with Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru leading at 42pc performance rating.
