The judgement on the murder of businesswomen Monica Kimani has been put off until 26, January 2024.
High Court judge Grace Nzioka indicated that the decision on the case could not be delivered Friday as expected citing late delay in filing of crucial “case exhibits.”
The postponement means the accused, journalist Jackie Maribe and Jowie will wait longer before they know their fate in the trial.
All parties in the case including their families were present at the Milimani law courts when the news of the postponement was made.
The family of Monica Kimani expressed disappointment in the rescheduling saying it represented a delay in delivery of justice.
