President William Ruto is expected to visit Gatundu South, the political backyard of former President Uhuru Kenyatta Monday to attend the burial of the late Pauline Nyokabi Kuria.

Pauline Nyokabi is the sister to Trade and Industrialization Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria.

She passed away on Friday January 13th at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH), Kiambu County, while undergoing treatment.

In a statement, President William Ruto said that “We grieve with your family and pray that Lord grants you the grace to bear the loss.”

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru said, “My heartfelt condolences to Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria for the loss of your beloved sister, Pauline Nyokabi Kuria. Praying that God comforts your family during this difficult period of grief.”

The President will be accompanied by his deputy Rigathi Gachagua and other senior government officials for the burial.
