108 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 1,185 tested in the last 24 hours.
Out of the positive cases, 51 are male while 57 are female with the youngest being 5 years old while the oldest is 85 years old.
Total confirmed positive cases are now 341,804 with cumulative tests so far conducted standing at 3,943,929. In terms of County distribution, 74 of the cases are from Nairobi, Kilifi 13, Kisumu 7, Kiambu 4, Siaya 4, Meru 2, Nakuru 2, and Narok 2 cases.
Distribution of positive cases by age is as follows; 0-9 years (3), 10-19 years (2), 20-29 years (28), 30-39 (26), 40-49 (18) 50-59 (15), 60 years and above (16).
73 patients have recovered from the disease, all from the Home based Care and Isolation program.
This pushes the total recoveries to 335,432 of whom 281,743 are from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program, while 53,689 are from various health facilities across the country.
No fatalities were recorded during the period under review so the cumulative fatalities remain at 5,684. Cumulative deaths by age remain; 0-9 years (62), 10-19 years (44), 20-29 (152), 30-39 years (415), 40-49 years (654), 50-59 years (1,032), 60 years and above (3,325).
There are 25 patients currently admitted in the health facilities, while 688 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.
1 other patient is on supplemental oxygen, and is in the General ward.
