Singer Nikita Kering’ and one-fifth of the ensemble Sauti Sol Bien are working on a song together.

The two were pictured in studio with Kenyan music producer SoFresh, producer, director Eugene Mbugu and musician Joy Ciru also known as Savinnah.

In a video shared online Bien praised Nikita calling her one of the best in the industry.

“The session was amazing! I just got work with the most amazing, most talented female artist of our time here in Kenya and in the world and the song is going to be a banger,” he said.

He also complimented their producer SoFresh saying, “Shout out to SoFresh! You know SoFresh is on the beat, and shout out to everyone who worked on this song... the entire team, you know it takes a village. Look out for the video guys.”

Nikita Kering’ is one of Kenya’s most recognisable young musicians. Having started singing at the age of 3, Kering’ has gone on to win multiple AFRIMMA awards with appearances on shows like BBC One Extra radio.

Bien, who is part of Sauti Sol, is Kenya’s most followed artist on Spotify. He has several solo songs like “Inauma”, “Dimension” and “Niko Sawa” which are the most streamed in the country. He also as a Grammy award alongside his fellow bandmates for his work on Burna Boy’s album “Twice As Tall.”
