The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the opening of its portal for 2024 placement to universities and colleges.
KUCCPS has invited applications for placement from the KCSE class of 2023 as well as those who completed form four from 2000 to 2022.
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu stated that the KUCCPS application portal will remain open for the first round of applications until February 22, 2024.
He directed KUCCPS to ensure the placement process is completed in time to allow students to apply for Government Loans and Scholarships under the New Funding Model.
“I direct KUCCPS to work with the Higher Education Loans Board, the Universities Fund, other relevant partners and State organs in a multi-agency approach to ensure that as many Form Four leavers as possible are reached and assisted to submit their applications,” said Machogu.
KUCCPS will place students in Universities including the Open University of Kenya (OUK), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) and Teachers Training Colleges (TTCs).
