KTDA sponsors short story competition on Yours2Read

The Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) in conjunction with the Writers Guild of Kenya is running a short story writing competition aimed at stories that focus on  Tea and KTDA improving the welfare of smallholder tea farmers in Kenya.

Entries for the competition will close on October 10 at midnight.

Winners of the competition will win a cash prize – KSh. 30,000, KSh. 20,000 and KSh. 10,000 for the first, first runner-up and second runner-up respectively. Pronouncements of winners will be done on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Nyrobi Book Festival at Alliance Francaise.

Submissions should be posted on Yours2Read.

As in all previous competitions, authors retain full copyright in their work. However, stories submitted will be made available to readers to download on the Yours2Read website, free of charge. Writers are free to withdraw your work from the platform at any time, and without permission, and no copy will be kept.
