King Mohammed VI,of Morocco who is also the  Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has given His Very High Instructions to deploy a humanitarian medical aid operation for the Palestinian population of Gaza.

The Moroccan aid will be transported via the same unprecedented land route used for the food aid operation deployed on the Sovereign’s instructions last Ramadan, the press release states.

A significant portion of the assistance from the Sovereign’s personal money will be paid for by  the King.

According to the press statement, the food aid mission that was deployed last Ramadan at the Sovereign’s request would use the same extraordinary land route for the delivery of the Moroccan supplies.

The medical aid ordered by the King of Morocco is part of a long tradition of active solidarity with Palestine, and a continuation of the Royal concern for the Palestinian people.

This aid, consisting of 40 tones of medical products and equipment for adults and children, is taking an exceptional route overland. Morocco was the first country to do so.
