Kenya’s Ronny Lusigi appointed to global Esports Commission

Esports Kenya President Ronny Lusigi has been appointed to the International Relations and Development Commission of the Global Esports Federation,GEF.

Lusigi thanked GEF C. E. O Paul Foster for the appointment promising to give strong emphasis on esports growth in Africa.

“I am humbled by this appointment. Many thanks to our CEO Mr. Foster for entrusting me and my nation with this responsibility. I also thank our African Esports Development Federation President Mr. Tommy Sitholr for the recommendation and mentorship. I look forward to contributing to the growth of esports especially in Africa.

The International Relations and Development Commission is headed by Aurelia Ruetsh from France.

The Commission  acts as  a key component of yje G;obal E sports Federation,GEF, governance structure with the overarching ambition to inform, guide, drive, and support the development of tangible initiatives and programs that serve the world’s esports community.

The Sport continues to grow in popularity in Africa with Kenya being among the countries in Su-Saharn Africa experiencing rapid growth thanks to its tech-savvy youth population.
