Kenya Police Bullets FC are the winners of the 2023/24 Football Kenya Federation Premier League with a match to spare.
Police confirmed their status as the new champions after beating Zetech Sparks 6-2 in their second last match played Saturday.
Kenya Police went on a rampage racing to a 5-0 lead just after 21 minutes.
Captain Juliet Andibo opened the floodgates after four minutes when he scored the opener.
Golden boot contender Rebecca Okwaro bagged a brace in the 11th and 25th minutes while Lucy Kwekwe was also on the mark twice in the 18th and 21st minutes to hand her side a comfortable 5-0 lead at the interval.
The Beldine Odemba coached outfit began the second half from where they had left as enterprising midfielder Lydia Akoth scored a sixth minutes after resumption.
Zetech launched a comeback with Anna Arusi and Yvonne Kavere each scoring to give their side slimmer hopes of coming back into the match.
Police are set to be handed the trophy when they play their final match against Bunyore Starlets at Mumboha Grounds,Vihiga County next month.
Meanwhile, defending champions and four time champions Vihiga Queens and Nakuru City Queens battled to a barren draw with the result ensuring that Vihiga finished second.
