Kenya, Oman commit to strengthening bilateral ties

Kenya and the Sultanate of Oman Government have expressed commitment to deepening and expanding cooperation in various sectors including trade and investment.

Speaking during the 54th Anniversary of the national day of the Sultanate of Oman in Nairobi, CS for Mining and Blue Economy Hassan Joho and the Sultanate of Oman Ambassador to Kenya Nasra Salim Mohamed Al-Hashim said there has been notable achievement in various areas of cooperation between the two countries.

The Oman Ambassador to Kenya Nasra Salim Mohamed Al-Hashim said her country will redouble its efforts in cooperation with Kenya in various fields which include political, economic, trade, cultural and investment with many bilateral agreement at various stages of implementation.

The diplomat noted that many bilateral agreements between the two nations are at various stages of implementation.

CS Joho who was the Chief Guest during the event said Kenya is eager to work together with Oman to enhance market access for Agricultural products.

The CS further reiterated Kenya’s readiness for strategic and purposeful engagement in various sectors of mutual interest for the two nations.
