The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams will continue as planned despite the scheduled public holiday on Monday November 13.
In a statement, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu stated that the holiday will not interrupt the ongoing KCSE examination, which entered its second day on Tuesday.
“The Ministry of Education wishes to inform the public that the holiday will not interrupt the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Examination papers scheduled for Monday, 13th November, 2023,” said Machogu.
The CS urged all members of the Multi-Agency Examinations Administration Group are requested to report to duty on time to ensure all the activities of the day are well executed as scheduled.
Interior CS Kithure Kindiki officially declared November 13, 2023, a public holiday for the purpose of nationwide tree planting.
