Kakamega leaders rally support ahead of Ruto’s development tour

A section of Kakamega leaders has welcomed President William Ruto in the county ahead of his visit scheduled for this Saturday.

Led by Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa, the leaders pledged support for Ruto’s broad based government saying that the Western region stands to benefit from various development projects.

The President is set to launch Ksh2 billion water project in Malava Constituency, a project expected to significantly benefit the residents of Kakamega and beyond.

“Kakamega County is solidly behind Present William Ruto’s broad based government and we welcome him this Saturday as he launches a Sh2B water project in Malava Constituency in line with my pillar of water at the doorstep,” said Barasa.

Governor Barasa was accompanied Malava MP Malulu Injendi and various MCAs from the county.

Since the formation of the broad-based government President Ruto has toured various regions including Embu, Murang’a, and Kisii.
