Seven candidates shortlisted for Chief Registrar of Judiciary position

The Judicial Service Commission has shortlisted seven candidates to replace Anne Amadi as the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary who has held the position since 2014.

In statement published in a local daily by Chief Justice Martha Koome, the Commission disclosed that the seven candidates were selected from a pool of 43 applicants and are to be interviewed on March 18, 2024.

“Having reviewed the applications for completeness and conformity with the constitution and statutory requirements set out in the advertisement Ref.V/No.30/2023 of 23rd October 2023, the Commission shortlisted a total of seven candidates.” Stated the CJ Koome.

The seven include; Macharia Rose Wachuka, Ouma jack Busalile, Mokaya Frida Boyani, Wambeti Ann Ireri, Ndemo Paul Maina, Kendagor Caroline Jepyegen and Kandet Kennedy Lenkamai.

Ndemo is currently acting as the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary.

Interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted by Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on 18th March 2024 at the time indicated in the interview schedule at the JSC boardroom, CBK Pension Towers, 13th Floor, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi.

 

The Commission has invited the public to avail in writing any information of interest concerning any of the shortlisted candidates.
