Israel Mbonyi headed to Kenya in August

Popular gospel musician Israel Mbonyi is set to perform in Kenya on August 10.

The event which will be hosted at the Ulizi Sports Complax on Langata Road is organised by The Africa Worship Experience responsible for some of the “biggest gospel concerts in Kenya.”

Israel was born in Kigali, Rwanda and has released five albums throughout his career namely; “Umusirikare,” “Mbwira (Live),” “Hari Ubuzima (Live),” “Mbwira,” and “Intashyo.”

Some of Israel’s most popular songs in Kenya are those he sings in Kiswahili, such as “Nina Siri” and “Nitaamini” with 48M and 19M views on YouTube, respectively.

Speaking about his upcoming performance he said: “Kenya holds a special place in my heart and I’m super grateful for your support.

“You have been the number one supporter (sic) of my ministry for the last few years and I’m super grateful for you guys the time has come for us to worship together live in person.”
