The third edition of Golf Park Open which tees off Friday to culminate Sunday April 14 has attracted a total of 78 golfers.
An initial entry of 100 was trimmed down to 78 and the top amateurs will be battling for ranking points as well as the ultimate title.
Among the top golfers expected to put up a strong performance in the championship is the inform Elvis Muigua, who recently won the Winston Churchill trophy,Adel Balala, John Lejirma, and the defending champion, Sammy Mulama.
Top amateur female golfers will also participate in the tournament.
The five include Joyce Wanjiru, Nancy Wairimu, Margaret Njoki, Diana Mbuba, and Mercy Nyanchama.
The foreign legion will be led by Uganda’s Dominic Musoke and Abdalla Kakooza
