Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua Thursday hosted the leadership of the Kenya Diaspora Association in South Africa for a working lunch in Sandton, Johannesburg.
The leaders highlighted various issues of concern and urged the Deputy President to take them up for redress.
Mr Gachagua assured the Diaspora community that President William Ruto is keen in addressing trade, and other diplomatic issues to make their life more comfortable while working out there.
He urged them to work with the High Commission, led by High Commissioner to South Africa Jane Ndurumo, in marketing Kenyan products, like coffee.
The Deputy President, who traveled to South Africa to represent President William Ruto at the inauguration of President Cyril Ramaphosa for his second term, is expected to arrive in Nairobi tonight via Kenya Airways.
