Fortune Sacco FC defeated Michae Olunga Foundation,MOFA, 3-0 to seal a slot in next year’s National Super League,NSL.The one legged play off was held Saturday at Dandora Stadium,Nairiobi.
The two teams which finished in second positions in their respective Division One zones met in a play off to decide the third team to join second tier.
Fortune Sacco now joins 3K FC and APS Bomet which had earned automatic promotion after topping their Zone and Zone B respectively respective zones.
At a packed Dandora Stadium, Elias Murage fired Fortune into the lead from the penalty spot. The lead lasted on till half time and on resumption the Kirinyaga based side added two further goals by Jacob Wangui and Mark Epaa in 79th and 81st minutes sealed their win.
Fortune Sacco head coach Simon Otimong said the team had to be warry of their opponents and that they stuck to their plan to go through.

Team Captain Elias Mugane attributed their success to the never-die attitude exhibited by the team who had to endure a seson in third tier despite earning promotion to top tier two seasons back.
‘’It gives us morale to get to NSL,remember we had gotten up to KPL but things happened and now that we are here I hope we do well in our first season and go up’’.
